Barbara Ann (Carney) Amos, 70, of New Oxford, died May 26, 2024, at her home.
Born March 26, 1954 in Natrona Heights, PA, she was the daughter of the late Veryle and Thelma (Claypool) Carney.
Barbara Ann liked traveling the Northeast looking at the different light houses along the coast and eating lobster rolls while watching the snow falling on the docks. She also liked trips alongside her husband and friends to Alaska and British Columbia, with its flowering hanging baskets around town.
She enjoyed bass fishing; always catching the first and biggest fish. Her biggest joy was riding with her husband on their Tiger with the Highspire Triumph Rat Pack. The best of times with the best of friends.
After 33 years of working at Hershey Corp, she still looked forward to her monthly gathering with the "Hershey girls".
When not riding, she visited and kept watch over pauper poker games at the homes of her lifelong friends, Bonnie and Janet.
She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond; stepdaughters, Amanda and Nadine; step grandkids, Neeve, Fiona, and Rowan. Also Steve Carney, Ruth, and David, Erin and their kids.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Carney; along with her stepson, Dylan Connelly.
