Barry Eugene Riddle

Barry Eugene Riddle, 87, of Hanover, PA, passed away surrounded by his loving family on February 17, 2025. He was the loving husband of Yvonne "Bonnie" (Stambaugh) Riddle for 64 years. Born June 15, 1937, in Harrisonburg, VA, he was the devoted son of the late Raymond Sr. and Blanche (Wine) Riddle.

Barry loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren, watching Jimmy Swaggart, watching sports and playing BINGO. He was a life-long member of Harvest Time Temple in Hanover.

In addition to his wife, Bonnie, he is survived by his children, David A. Riddle and wife Terri, Matthew E. Riddle and wife Brenda, Sherry A. Gruver and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Michael Gruver, Stephanie Gruver, Lance Bowers, Zachary Bowers and wife Anita; great-grandchildren, Carsen Gruver, Summer Bowers; and sister, Judy Strait.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Riddle Jr.; and sisters, Louis Riddle and Nancy Warner.

A visitation will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Harvest Time Temple, 700 Black Rock Rd in Hanover, where the service will begin at 11:00AM with Pastor Fred Mummert officiating. 

Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery, 131 Christ Church Rd in Littlestown, PA.
