Troy Rick Heininger, 50, of Gettysburg, PA, passed away on April 25, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Born July 1, 1973, in York, PA, he was the loving son of Rick Heininger and his wife Jeanne as well as his mother Bonnie Heininger.
In addition to his parents, Troy is survived by his daughter, Lexi Heininger; twin brother, Mark Heininger and Tammy Frock; sisters, Kristi Agee and husband Max, Missy Gladfelter and husband Shane; step-sister Jenny Behney and husband Mike; uncle, Ammon Heininger Jr and Faye; aunt, Iris Stimmel and her husband Rick. He was also a wonderful uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Troy’s last three years were a gift thanks to Tammy McMaster-Sanders, his kidney donor.
Troy crammed every bit of life into his 50 years, not wasting a second. He lived fearlessly, loved endlessly, and was a best friend to many. Troy loved boating and hunting, but his true passion was motorcycles. He loved his job and work family at Pete’s Cycles. Troy always had a story to share, a laugh to fill the room, and his smile made your day brighter. He always surrounded himself with the best people including American Bikers on a Mission, who make a positive impact on so many. Troy loved helping others and being a part of them brought fulfillment to his life.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in Troy’s honor to American Bikers on a Mission (on Facebook.com) or The American Kidney Fund (www.kidneyfund.org).
