William "Bill" Porter

William "Bill" Ralph Condit Porter, 84, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, died on Friday, February 3, 2025 at his home.

Born June 5, 1940 in New Milford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Fred Howard Porter, Jr. and Marjori (Matthew) Porter.

Bill was a graduate of Millbrook High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. He graduated from USAF Academy in Colorado in 1963. 

He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

Bill is survived by his brother, Fred H. Porter, III; two sisters, Pamela L. Williford and husband Jesse, Dorothy C. Holland and husband Russell; several extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Mary Lou Porter.

Services will be private.

Brandenburg & Stein Funeral Parlor, Gettysburg, PA, are assisting the family with the arrangements.
