Willis William Shrader, Sr., 86, of Hanover, PA, passed away at home surrounded by his family on August 2, 2024. He was the loving husband of May (Ludwig) Shrader for 68 years.
Born August 5, 1937, in Millcreek, West Virginia, Willis was the devoted son of the late Howard and Laura (Collins) Shrader.

He was the oldest of 7 children who was good to his parents and was a good person at heart. He took care of his brother Patrick who had Cerebral Palsy instead of placing him in a facility. Willis will be missed by many.
In addition to his wife May, he is survived by his children, Gary Shrader, Willis Shrader Jr, David Shrader, Donna Wilson and husband Brian, and Roger Shrader; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; siblings, William Shrader, Hobert Shrader, Mary Ann Carter, and Lynette Finkel; grandsons, Joe Engle IV and Michael Panek; sister-in-laws, Donna Goodson and Kathy Lightner; brother-in-law, Robert Ludwig; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Braden; brother; Sonny Shrader and sister; Barbara Forbes.
