General Price List

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff, Overhead - $2,225.00

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

Our services include: 24 hour availability of personnel; conducting the arrangement conference; sheltering of remains; preparing and filing of necessary notices; obtaining necessary authorizations and permits; coordinating of services to include with cemetery, crematory, or other third parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs.

Use of Facilities and Staff for Visitation/Viewing (2 Hours) - $500.00

Use of Facilities and Staff for Funeral Ceremony - $500.00

Use of Facilities and Staff for Memorial Service - $500.00

Use of Equipment and Staff for Graveside Service - $480.00

Overtime Charges (Monday-Friday After 3 pm & Saturdays) - $250

Overtime Charges (Sunday & Holiday) - $500.00

Embalming - $775.00

Embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Cremation - $750.00

IF YOU WANT TO ARRANGE A DIRECT CREMATION, YOU CAN USE AN ALTERNATIVE CONTAINER. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are a fiberboard container or an unfinished wood box. 

CREMATION IS A MODE OF DISPOSITION FOR HUMAN REMAINS THAT INVOLVES REDUCING THE REMAINS TO THE BASE ELEMENTS THROUGH A PROCESS OF HEAT AND EVAPORATION (FOR A MORE COMPLETE DESCRIPTION OF THE CREMATION PROCESS, PLEASE SEE OUR CREMATION AUTHORIZATION FORM). THIS IS DONE NOT AS AN END ITSELF, BUT TO PREPARE THE REMAINS FOR PERMANENT MEMORIALIZATION. CHOSING CREMATION DOES NOT PRECLUDE HAVING A VIEWING OR FUNERAL CEREMONY BEFOREHAND, IF THAT IS DESIRED.

AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE IS REQUIRED FOR A MEDICAL EXAMINERS PERMIT FOR CREMATION IF DEATH OCCURS IN PENNSYLVANIA, VIRGINIA, THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA OR WEST VIRGINIA. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE EMBALMING, USE OF FACILITIES AND STAFF FOR VISITATION OR FUNERAL CEREMONY, CASKET OR RENTAL CASKET, OR CASH ADVANCE ITEMS OR MERCHANDISE.

Receiving Remains From Another Funeral Home - $3,300.00

THIS CHARGE INCLUDES BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF, TRANSFER FROM THE COMMON CARRIER OR FUNERAL HOME, AND TRANSPORTATION TO THE PLACE OF FINAL DISPOSITION WITHIN 25 MILES.

Forwarding of Remains to Another Funeral Home - $4,300.00**

THIS CHARGE INCLUDES BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF, TRANSFER OF THE DECEASED INTO OUR CARE, EMBALMING, AND LOCAL GROUND TRANSPORTATION TO A COMMON CARRIER. A SHIPPING CONTAINER (NOT A CASKET) IS INCLUDED IN THE CHARGE. THIS CHARGE DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY STAFF OR FACILITIES FOR VIEWING OR CONDUCTING A FUNERAL CEREMONY PRIOR TO FORWARDING THE REMAINS, ANY MERCHANDISE OTHER THAN THE SHIPPING CONTAINER, OR SHIPPING CHARGES. **DOES NOT INCLUDE AIRFARE**
